I'll have to manage though! There are plenty of things to do here in Paris. I need to fulfill them all, desu, and no freezing temparature shall stop me. :D

I guess I took my defeat last time really hard, desu. Maybe it's because it revealed my weakness against power players, desu... And I knew I had to overcome it by my next match. Akutsu-senpai was really nice to agree to play with me until I get better, desu. That Rodriguez, he's... a really awful guy. But no matter how much I detest him, his play style is really good, desu. He's got Nadal pinned down, from the grip, the heavy ground storkes and the amount of revolutions of his forehand top spin is averaging equal to that of a pro's. And he's got power behind every shot as well...
That reminds me... Tetsu-senpai? May I ask if you could play a match with me, desu? I was wondering how my new technique would fare against an aggressive baseliner like you, desu... :)

I bumped into Akutsu-senpai after that and I’m really grateful that he accompanied me to the hospital, desu. I spent the rest of my birthday there and I really wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m just too worried for Sengoku-senpai to ‘have fun’, desu… And for Minami-buchou as well, desu. The nurses said he was injured too, and that he visits Sengoku-senpai daily. Though, he seem to disappear whenever there are other visitors, desu, so I’m not sure how he’s doing exactly. But he must be feeling doubly worse than the rest of us…
Ne, senpai-tachi… Do you see him at practice, desu? I know he wouldn’t be able to join the tournaments, but perhaps he visits the courts, desu? …Jackal-san? Maybe he spoke to you recently, desu? I can’t contact him at all…
[ooc: Should have posted this on the 3rd. And for Marui too. Fail mun is fail. Pretend it's still the 3rd? >>;]

I heard you like sparkly texts
In other news... I am sick. Based on my symptoms, it's the flu, desu. I'll be spending Christmas Eve, one of the most magical nights of the year, in bed, desu. D: And while I realize that sounds... good to some, desu, it's not. It's disappointing, desu... I've already given gifts to the rest of the senpai-tachi before the break and to Muromachi-senpai and to Kachiro-kun and Katsuo-kun and Urayama-kun too... but I haven't given Akutsu-senpai's gift to him yet. I wanted to give it tonight, desu... D:
And I feel really bad for Sayu. I think she caught it too, so she couldn't go out with her friends to enjoy tonight, desu. D: I'll have to make it up to her when I get better!

But this event revealed more bullyings happening behind my back. News reached me that some freshmen on the team is being picked on by my very own yearmates. I'm not amused, desu. :( Having been bullied once before, I know how much that will affect a first year's thinking and self-confidence. I definitely won't allow it to continue. I have had very admirable senpais when I was a first year to guide me, so now, I'm re-paying the favor by being a good senpai myself, desu. How to do that though... I'm not sure yet, but I'm sure I'll think of a way, desu.
Sengoku-senpai! Thanks for the lessons, desu. I don't think I'm cut out for boxing, but sandbag-punching is a great stress reliever, desu! ^__^

People can hurt and insult me all they want, desu, but to hurt a teammate of mine, a kohai at that, that's just wrong, desu. Hirano-kun is now in danger of not being able to play anymore because of those bastards.
I can't forgive them.

A late happy birthday Muromachi-senpai, desu! I know I called you on your birthday, but it’s only right that I greet you here too, desu! Ah, and also to Ibu-san and to Jackal-san who celebrated theirs just yesterday, desu. I can’t remember how I got invited to that party, desu, but it was really fun. Thank you for not kicking me out, desu!
Ah, Sengoku-senpai!!! Have you heard, desu? All the re-decorations we did for Halloween were all over the community papers, desu! It said: ‘it was very creative for the tennis club to come up with something so creative, and just in time too for Culture day. We commend the members of the Yamabuki tennis club for putting great efforts to promote cultural awareness for others to learn and enjoy’. I guess that’s why so many people from others schools had been visiting our courts, desu! I even got the chance to play against Shitenhouji's Tooyama-kun again because of it, desu! Of course, I lost really badly and so quickly too!... But that's just what you expect from a rival of Echizen-kun's, desu!
Oh, oh, and Culture day was today, desu. Our class made a horror booth, desu, and I get to play a ghost, desu. But... I don't think I managed to scare anyone, desu. Everyone just wanted to have a picture with me, desu, and kept calling me... 'cute'. D: I wasn't trying to be 'cute', desu! I was trying to be a scary ghost, desu! D:
I'm excited, desu! The Orionid Meteor Showers is tonight, desu! Sayu has always wanted to watch one, desu, so I'm taking her up to the hill nearby, desu. We plan to stay up until early next morning to watch them, desu! We already packed our picnic baskets with sandwiches and hot soup in thermos plus, we're also bringing extra thick blankets to lie on, desu! It's super cold outside now, desu, so we're definitely going to have to bundle up too!
Ne, anybody else going to watch the meteor shower tonight, desu? :D Maybe we could meet up, desu. Me and my sister have lots of snacks to share, desu! ...I asked Akutsu-senpai if he wants to join us, desu, but he says he's got better things to do than watch falling rocks. D: Still, I hope he'd at least drop by for a snack...
(ooc: *fail* Should have posted this yesterday. ^^; I fail at understanding timezone differences, so please pretend he posted this on time?)

Sengoku-senpai didn't meet me at our scheduled match yesterday afternoon, desu... And I called at his house, and was told he hasn't come home yet. So I tried calling Minami-buchou, desu... And he wasn't there either, desu. Both their parents were also worrying when I called, desu, said Sengoku-senpai and Minami-buchou should have returned yesterday morning...
And then there's that news on TV, desu, of missing tourists near Mount Nokogiri, desu... I... I'm really, really worried, desu. A-ah, but they wouldn't be too happy with me if I worried too much, desu! So even if it's hard, I'll try hard not to, desu...
Eh, um. I visited Muromachi-senpai and Oshitari-san's place last Saturday, desu~! We played lots of games, desu~! Muromachi-senpai still beats me at everything though. Oh, but except that wrestling one, desu! Somehow I always manage to win at that, desu~! It was really cool to hang out with Muromachi-senpai again like that, desu. :D Ah, but I enjoyed my time there so much that I actually forgot that I came to cheer him up, desu! D: I just hope I somehow did, desu... Oh, and thank you for the hospitality, Oshitari-san, desu!
And now I'm looking forward to that match with Echizen-kun again, desu! Should be anytime this week, desu~ Oh, oh! Maybe when Sengoku-senpai returned........... Ahhh, now I'm worried again, desu.... D:
(ooc: strikes are supposed to be screened, but he forgot. ^^;)

Ever since Akutsu-senpai stopped playing against me, it's been really hard to find someone to play against, desu. For some reason, my own teammates wouldn't want to play with me desu! T_T It's really hard to practice without an opponent, desu! I already bothered Urayama-kun, and Kachiro-kun and Katsuo-kun enough for matches, desu, so I'm really glad Echizen-kun didn't mind me playing against him again!
Oh, oh! And it was fun having all the senpai around a few weeks ago, desu! Muromachi-senpai visited, and I managed to convince Akutsu-senpai to show up too! It also happened to be Higashikata-senpai's birthday (although no one except Minami-buchou actually remembered until it was halfway through the party desu), so he treated us all out after class!
It was really, really fun, desu! We should do something like that again, senpai-tachi!
(ooc: One of Dan's techniques is Mimicry: he instinctively copies his opponents' playing styles and habits as they played, which usually throws his opponents' game off. ^^; This puts off his teammates so no one wanted to play with him if they could help it.)

Hello everyone! Dan Taichi here, desu! I finally made myself a journal, desu! Kinda late now, but computers confuse me a lot, desu... I like writing in my notebooks more! Oh, but I'm being rude. How's everyone, desu?
I know some of my senpai-tachi has journals like this so I hope they can read mine, desu! Too bad Akutsu-senpai doesn't keep a journal... I should ask him to get one when I saw him again! I really miss everyone, desu...
But I'm really lucky to have a good team this year, desu! Kanto Tournaments had just wrapped up and we're going to Nationals, desu! It was really tough; everyone had just gotten better desu! Katsuo-kun and Kachiro-kun's Doubles pair was amazing, desu. Their teamwork only improves better with time, desu. I bet they can be the next Golden pair, desu! Takagi-kun and Matsuda-kun really should learn from them, desu. And Urayama-kun! It was wonderful to be able to play against him again, desu! Although I wonder why he wasn't placed in Doubles as usual...
And since the junior high tournament wrapped up earlier that the high school one, I was able to watch senpai-tachi matches, desu! Akutsu-senpai had only gotten so much better now, desu! He's 87% percent swifter now compared to the last time I saw him play, desu! Amazing! I'm really happy Akutsu-senpai continued playing... It'll be such a loss if he didn't since he's such a wonderful player, desu! Ah... But it's too bad Yamabuki lost both times. Everyone played hard though and was really inspiring, desu! Senpai-tachi! We'll do our best in the Nationals too, desu!
But... there's something wrong desu... That's not Banjii coaching them, desu. I wonder who that man was? I should try to find out, desu! I'm not 100% sure, desu, but the line-ups are totally messed up! I need to check on it again... I hope it wouldn't be that way in the Nationals, desu.
